Great book

It's obvious the author has experienced dealing with ADHD himself and he has a deep understanding of the issues that men face when dealing with the challenges of ADHD. This book has a lot of great ideas and techniques for dealing with many situations that occur with life, work and relationships. It covers many good ideas about keeping to schedule that keeps yourself productive and also covers how diet and exercise can also be beneficial. It does touch on medications but I like how this was more about things you could do for yourself to cope. Would recommend to anyone with ADHD that needs a little help coping.

ADHD man or family of ADHD man? You need this!!

I can't recommend this audiobook enough—it's excellent! Although I’m not a male and do not have ADHD myself, this book has greatly helped me understand the men close to me who do. I've already recommended it to my son and son-in-law (and his wife, our daughter!), both of whom deal with ADHD.

The author, clearly a male with long-term experience managing ADHD, provides effective strategies and insights that are both practical and relatable. He offers hope through his own experiences with ADHD management and thriving through the challenges. His injections of humor, such as the reassurance that “one doesn’t need to become a monk to practice meditation” (LOL), add a fun element, making the content more enjoyable, entertaining, and informative. This subject could be relatively dry, but not so in this presentation.

One of the standout aspects of the audiobook is its presentation. The narrator does an excellent job (I’ve heard some bad narrators with other audiobooks), and this narrator was one of the best I’ve heard. The book is well-written and organized and avoids unnecessary repetition, keeping the listening experience concise and to the point. The length of the entire listen was just right for me.

I was pleasantly surprised to find several takeaways for myself! I intend to follow the step-by-step guide to building a daily meditation practice. Overall, this audiobook is a valuable resource, not just for men with ADHD but also for those who want to understand and support them better. I hope this author will follow up with more audiobooks on related topics.
