Esta novela es un fresco del papel no resuelto de las voces femeninas en la sociedad y un homenaje a todas aquellas vidas que el franquismo hizo transcurrir en un fondo en blanco y negro. Unas mujeres que siguen vivas en sus hijas y en sus nietas porque una mujer no muere jamás.
Elisa Beni (Logroño, 1964) es periodista y escritora. Es autora de las novelas Peaje de Libertad y Pisa mi corazón y de los ensayos La soledad del juzgador y La justicia sometida. Como periodista ha trabajado en Diario 16 y Cadena SER entre otros y fue la directora más joven de un diario en nuestro país. Actualmente es colaboradora en Onda Cero en el programa Julia en la Onda y de otros televisivos como Más Vale Tarde y La Sexta Noche en La Sexta o Espejo Público en Antena3 y el Tot es mou en TV3 y columnista en Eldiario y Elnacional.
