Good topic
During a recent checkup my doctor told me I was "borderline pre-diabectic". This was concerning because I have coronary heart disease. I am a recent retiree with plans to do volunteer work and to travel, diabetes could alter those plans. So this book is "just what the doctor ordered". Victoria has done an excellent job of explaining diabetes and it's effect in an easy to understand manner.

Highly Recommend!
Very informative, learning why things are as they are regarding diabetes and also how and why your body uses nutrients is worth the price alone. The meal plan and recipes are like icing on the cake. I've been on a 95% vegetarian diet eating pretty much only recipes in this book.

This is a fantastic book. The book addresses both Type 1 and Type II diabetes and all age groups to make diabetes management for everyone a breeze. This book is a must-have for any diabetic - to be referenced again and again as needed. You'll be glad you have it in your arsenal.

Fantastic Guide for Beginners!
Good price, good buy, I would recommend. One thing I really like about this book is that it shows you how much of each you should be eating which is really helpful to me anyways. Also I think it has a lot of really good info for someone who knows nothing about diabetes.

Yum! Every recipe is delicious!
Most of the preparation times are close to accurate, except for a few recipes where there is a lot of chopping or shrimp deveining and peeling involved and for those, I’ve learned to either double the time or prep the veggies earlier in the day. I have already recommended this cookbook to several other people and I’m sure you would enjoy it as well.

A good starting point
